Call 936-661-9123 Request a QuoteEast Texas asks less of a furnace than it does of an air conditioner, and that cuts both ways. A gas furnace here runs a short season, which means it can hide a developing fault for months and then fail on the first genuinely cold night of the year. It also means a furnace that gets a service visit every year routinely outlasts one that gets attention only when it stops.
Ginsel Heating & Air has been doing this work since 2008. Owner Donnie Ginsel came out of the fire service, and gas-fired equipment is where that background matters most: heat exchangers, flue draft, gas line pressure and safety controls are checked as a matter of course, not as an upsell. We are an Armstrong Air Pro Team Dealer on the installation side, and we repair and maintain furnaces of all makes and models.
Diagnostics and repair on the failures that actually show up: inadequate or uneven heat, persistent noises or strange smells, short cycling, pilot light and ignition control faults, and thermostat problems. Maintenance visits cover burners and heat exchanger, filters, safety controls, electrical connections and airflow.
Furnace Repair DetailsNew furnaces for construction and additions, and replacements for systems that cost more to keep running than to change out. Every quote starts with a Manual J load calculation, and Pro Team Dealer status brings manufacturer rebates and extended warranties that general installers cannot offer.

Our maintenance plan covers both the heating and cooling side of the year.
We repair, maintain and install gas furnaces throughout East Texas:
Where natural gas is not available, a heat pump or a packaged unit with electric heat is usually the right conversation instead.
We diagnose and repair furnace faults, perform seasonal maintenance, and install and replace gas furnaces for homes and businesses across our East Texas service area. Repair and installation each have their own page with the detail on what is involved.
Yes. Our technicians diagnose, repair and maintain furnaces of all makes and models. We are an Armstrong Air Pro Team Dealer on the installation side, but service work is not limited to the brands we sell.
East Texas heating seasons are short compared to the cooling load, so the answer depends on how much you actually run heat and how long you plan to stay in the house. We quote the Armstrong options side by side, from the 80 percent AFUE A801E through the 96 percent A962E and the 98 percent modulating A98MV, and let you compare the equipment cost against the efficiency on paper.
We inspect and clean the burners and heat exchanger, check and replace air filters as needed, test the safety controls and electrical connections, lubricate moving parts, and evaluate airflow and overall system efficiency. Catching a problem during maintenance is what keeps it from becoming a no-heat call in January.
